About Kevin McLaughlin
Kevin is a partner at Centri Business Consulting and serves as the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Practice Leader. Since joining Centri in December 2014, Kevin has specialized in supporting high-growth companies, particularly in the AI, technology, and cannabis industries, through critical stages of their business lifecycle.
Kevin has extensive experience guiding companies through expansion stages, including subsequent financings, acquisitions, and capital market transactions. His expertise includes initial public offerings (IPOs), acquisitions, and divestitures. He excels in leading complex transactions such as debt and equity arrangements, integration of acquisition accounting processes, and due diligence. Kevin also provides IPO and M&A preparation services to ensure clients fully meet their financial reporting requirements. He assists in the preparation of periodic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), including S-1, S-4, 8-K, proxy, 10-Q, 10-K, and Form 10 filings.
Prior to joining Centri, Kevin worked at Friedman LLP where he was responsible for private and public engagement across a variety of industries, including life sciences, technology, real estate, entertainment, and financial services. During this time, he focused on emerging growth companies and publicly traded companies, guiding clients through the financial reporting process for going public through reverse mergers.
