Composer and singer AR Rahman expressed concern about the proliferation of new artificial intelligence services.The singer shared the video on Twitter, which was originally created wall street journal, Shows how Chinese schools are using AI-powered technology to track students and their performance.
The video shows students in a school wearing AI headbands that can measure who can concentrate the most. Headbands can record attention spans and convert that data into reports to share with teachers and parents. According to the Wall Street Journal, headwear measures electrical signals from neurons in the brain and uses algorithms to convert them into attention scores.
In schools, robots take attendance, teach and analyze children’s behavior. That’s not all. Students wear uniforms with chips that can track their location.

Since it was posted, many users on social media have expressed concern, saying it looks like an Orwellian dystopia.
A user who commented on the post said, “It’s definitely a curse. We didn’t learn this way and we’re doing just fine. This just persuades kids to do things they’re not interested in.” Every child has their own way of growing up, they just need good guidance.”
