New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday launched a scathing attack on Congress, accusing the Bihar unit of exceeding all the restrictions of good sense after posting a video of an AI-occurring event targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late mother.
The BJP leader also denounced the MPs of Rok Sabah Rahul Gandhi and opposition leaders for skipping the oath ceremony of newly elected Vice President CP Radhakrishnan. BJP spokesman RP Singh said the Congress had leaned down “a new low in political discourse.”
“This is a very shameful thing. The Congressional Party has now become a party that abuses others,” he said.
With Rahul Gandhi taking the oath, Singh said: “The opposition parties do not believe in the democratic process. The Vice President's oath ceremony was held, and opposition leaders should have attended as well.”
BJP State Secretary Arun Singh also met Congress and recalled the recent election setback.
“We need to remember the election in Rajasthan where Rahul Gandhi held Yatra. What happened? Was the government lost? If the Congress wins in Himachal or Karnataka and claims 'voting theft' there, they will not question the constitutional organization. Reflecting similar sentiments, BJP national spokesman Tom Vadakan criticized the parliamentary leader's approach to national institutions.
“There is a clear pattern. On the day of independence, their seats were empty. When invited, they don't come. When not invited, they make it a problem. The humiliating initiative and constitutional authority became the second nature of Rahul Gandhi.
In a controversial AI-generated video, Vadakkan warned of a powerful public backlash.
“The Congress and India Liance are creating a new toolkit story by targeting the prime minister's mother. Everyone knows it's very important to him. Whether it's being generated or in other kinds of clips, the repulsion is immeasurable…” (ians)
