Bihar Congress posts AI video that makes PM Modi's mother laugh

AI Video & Visuals

As parliamentary elections approach in Bihar, Congressional parties have resorted to launching a personal attack on Prime Minister Modi. After Prime Minister Modi and his late mother were abused last month in the Congress RJD's “Voting Adakal Yatra”, now Bihar Congress has targeted him and his mother, Healaven by posting AI videos on social media.

In a move below the belt, the Bihar meeting shared a 36-second AI video on X on Friday (September 12) showing characters similar to Prime Minister Modi and his late mother. The video captioned, “Maa appears in Sahab's Dreams,” depicts Prime Minister Modi sleeping by saying, “End with today's 'Voting Chori' and let's go to sleep now.” Furthermore, the video shows him falling asleep and watching his deceased mother, who appears to be angry in his dreams. She accused Prime Minister Modi of using her name for politics.

The offensive video sparked a political storm as the BJP demanded an apology, describing the video as a shaming to all his mothers and sisters. The parties requested action against the person responsible for posting AI videos.

Congress has become “Galiwadi” instead of “Gandiwadi”: BJP

Condemning the muddy slurping of the Congress, BJP MP Anurag Thakur stated, “The RJD and Congress show the depth that politics can sink. It is shameful to engage in the mud and humiliate someone's mother, especially those who have died. It does not reflect much on their political ethics.”

Invoking light empty, BJP MP Radha Mohan Das Agrawal said he would approach the election committee on video. “Prime Minister Modi has always maintained politics apart from family life. It's painful for Congress to abuse the Prime Minister's mother first and now using deepfake technology to mislead the country and slander all mothers,” Agrawal said.

BJP spokesman Shehzad Poonawalla launched a tough attack on Congress, calling the video shameful, adding that the party has become a girlwadi (abusive) in place of Ganjiwadi. “It's not about abusing the prime minister's mother, Congress lies and justified and defended the accused. The party has become 'Gariwadi' in place of Ganjwadi,” Puonawara said.

There's nothing rude in the video: Congress

Following a massive backlash against social media videos, Bihar Congress had to launch a so-called investigation into the issue, while senior council leader Pawan Kara defended the offensive video. Supporting the video, Khera said he did not disrespect Prime Minister Modi's late mother. “Where is rude to a deceased mother? A word, gesture, show you a place of disrespect. It is a parent's duty to educate their children. She only educates the child, and if she thinks the child is rude to him, it is not his headache, not mine, not yours, but his headache,” Khera said.

Khera continues to preach Prime Minister Modi, saying that when he is in politics, Prime Minister Modi should accept everything. “Modi cannot “not touch” politics. He's in politics. He all need to take appropriate measures even a sense of humor from the opposition. In fact, there's no humor.

This comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother were abused in slurs such as “Madelchi*od” at the Congressional RJD rally held in Darbanga, Bihar on August 27, 2025.
