Benzinga launches video news feed for brokerages, trading platforms and AI developers

AI Video & Visuals

New product offers financial videos with ticker maps for embedding, licensing and model training

detroit, March 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Benzinga, a leading provider of real-time financial news and market data, today announced the launch of a stock market news video feed. This is a new data product for brokerage firms. fintech For AI developers, MRSS provides direct access to Benzinga’s library of financial video content.

This feed covers all of Benzinga’s daily video output: market opens and closes, earnings coverage, sector analysis, and macro commentary. All assets come with stock ticker tags, topic classifications, publication timestamps, and time periods, allowing downstream platforms to match relevant videos to stock pages and homepages without building their own editorial efforts.

The platform is available in two configurations. A live feed delivers new content as it is created. This historical archive dates back to 2020 and represents one of the largest collections of licensed retail-focused financial videos currently available on the market. Both are accessible via MRSS and have FTP delivery options for high-volume integrations.

Financial platforms are moving to video faster than most expected. Leading brokerages, trading apps, and data infrastructure providers are all looking more seriously at video as a user engagement tool and as a training asset for AI. Stock Market News Video Feed is Benzinga’s answer to both use cases. For AI developers, historical archives, combined with available transcript overlays, provide a structured, rights-cleared corpus for multimodal natural language processing work.

“Retail traders are increasingly demanding video, and platforms that display video directly in the trading experience are winning in engagement,” said Andrew Lebos, SVP of Licensing at Benzinga. “We built this product to enable any platform to integrate video exactly where investors need it, keeping users on the platform and turning market news into action.”

“Video has become the preferred way for people to consume information, and financial content is no exception,” said Aaron Thomas, director of video operations at Benzinga. “From the beginning, we’ve treated everything we produce as a data asset. Building a video business that delivers consistent, structured financial content every day takes a lot of work, but at Benzinga we’ve built more than just volume. We have a library where all of our content is placed in context and tied to tickers and topics that matter to investors. We’re proud to share our direct connection to that business to help move the industry forward.”

The stock market news video feed is offered alongside Benzinga’s existing suite of APIs, covering real-time market news, earnings and conference call recordings, analyst ratings, company activity, and the Why Is It Moving (WIIM) dataset.
