Beamr has partnered with Intempora, a dSPACE company, to bring its compression capabilities to RTMaps middleware, an autonomous driving development platform used by OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers around the world.

HERZLIYA, Israel, July 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Beamr Imaging Ltd. (NASDAQ: BMR), a leader in video optimization technologies and solutions, and Intempora, a dSPACE company and pioneer of advanced software solutions for autonomous driving, today announced that Beamr’s ML-safe video data technology is now available in the RTMaps AI Store for use across the AV stack.

AV programs generate tens to hundreds of petabytes of video data, increasing storage and networking costs and slowing development. Beamr and Intempora’s collaboration allows AV teams to reduce data volumes while maintaining ML accuracy without changing the stacks they already rely on.

RTMaps (Real-Time Multisensor Applications) is modular development and execution middleware designed to acquire, synchronize, process, record, and playback heterogeneous data streams in real time. Beamr’s ML-safe compression can be deployed as video data accumulates. For logging, compression allows you to keep more recorded footage on limited storage. Cloud and data centers reduce existing petabyte-scale storage and transfer costs. Simulation and training reduce the real-world and synthetic datasets that feed hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.

At each stage, Beamr’s Content Adaptive Bitrate Technology (CABR) reduces file size by up to 50% while preserving object boundaries, edges, and scene details that perception and detection models rely on. CABR reduces file size beyond standard encoding alone and performs GPU acceleration for high-throughput processing.

“RTMaps AI Store provides AV teams with a ready-to-use software component that can be easily deployed directly into the development pipeline. Compression is a feature our users have been asking for,” said Nicolas Du Lac, CEO of Intempora. “Beamr is the first compression technology in the store that allows teams to significantly reduce the size of video data within the frameworks they are already working in without compromising the data feed model.”

“Managing the amount of data that AV programs generate is always a challenge for the teams we work with, and video is the biggest part of that,” said Jacob Perrin, ADAS/AD Engineering Manager at dSPACE. “In our tests, Beamr reduced video data while preserving the detections that perceptual models depend on. This is what makes Beamr a good fit for petabyte-scale workflows across our ecosystem.”
