Built on technical talent, strategic thinking and lasting partnerships
schaumburg illinois, June 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — BBI, a global data and AI consultancy, today announced its 10th anniversary. This marks 10 years of building, modernizing, and operating a data foundation that can launch analytics, applications, and AI innovation.
Celebrating BBI 10th Anniversary
As organizations accelerate their investments in analytics, automation, and AI, many are finding that fundamental systems and data challenges remain significant barriers to progress. According to Gartner, poor data quality continues to cost organizations millions of dollars each year, while 60% of AI projects lack AI-enabled data, underscoring the growing need for reliable, adaptable, and well-designed data systems.
“When we started this journey 10 years ago, we saw a unique opportunity to combine our deep data integration and data engineering expertise with emerging cloud and big data technologies,” said Ravneet Singh, co-founder and CEO. “From the beginning, our purpose has been to help our clients deliver trusted data and build reliable data foundations that can withstand changing business and technology environments. AI is the latest incarnation of this. Almost all of our clients are now looking for consistent, reliable systems to drive AI at scale.”
Over the past decade, BBI has worked with organizations in industries such as financial services, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing to address these challenges head-on. The company designs and modernizes cloud-based data architectures, unifies complex data environments, and operates a data platform that enables clients to trust their data, make decisions with confidence, and realize the full potential of their analytics and AI initiatives.
“I am extremely proud of what our team has accomplished over the past 10 years,” said Balasubramanian Palanivreu (Bala), co-founder and president. “We founded this company on the belief that doing things the right way is important. Our success is the result of consistently delivering successful service, investing in our people, and remaining focused on long-term client outcomes rather than short-term profits.”
10 Years of Client Impact and Trusted Partnerships
That client-first mentality is reflected in BBI’s relationships. BK Vasan is a former vice president of data, technology and analytics for a national retailer and has been working with BBI for nearly four years.
“I don’t call them vendors. I call them partners,” he said. “BBI meets the four key criteria I look for: strategic thinking, technical talent, competitive pricing, and the flexibility to work with businesses. Give them a challenge and they jump on it, amplify it, and make it happen.”
The co-founders first met 25 years ago at data analytics consultancy Knightsbridge Solutions. There, they were part of a team of elite data engineers solving complex data management challenges for some of the nation’s largest companies, including Allstate, Citi, Merrill, and JPMC. Since Knightsbridge was acquired by HP 20 years ago this year, the two went their separate ways, working at companies including Intel, ITI Data and Fannie Mae, before reuniting in 2016 to found BBI.
Andrew Bernstein, a former vice president at a global financial services company, has been a client of BBI’s founders for more than 20 years, with a relationship dating back to their time at Knightsbridge. When BBI launched, Bernstein was the first to call and bring them in to work on a large-scale cloud migration and data conversion effort.
“I believed that if I came to BBI with a problem, it would be taken care of. Not all vendors work that way,” Bernstein said. “We are our most recommended vendor in partner reviews and consistently receive top scores as a trusted partner. BBI’s agile engineering team adds value faster, moves faster, and digs deeper than some large enterprises.”
Scaling for the future
To foster continued growth, BBI is ramping up its investment in sales and marketing, turning to other Knightsbridge Solutions veterans, including Mike Wright of Action Advisors, LLC, to build its sales strategy and team, including Moises Aguilar, Dave Cook, and Duke Nicolian. Spring Marketing Group, led by Kelly Kasher, drives marketing strategy and brand awareness. Together, the team brings a proven track record of building partnerships with clients and scaling service organizations.
