Ateme, a leading provider of video solutions, has announced that its video headend technology is being used to power the latest satellites launched by Nilesat. The collaboration marks the third time Nilesat has selected his Ateme for video headend and highlights the success of the ongoing partnership.
The satellite in question, Nilesat-301, is set to expand its service range throughout the Middle East and Africa. To ensure the highest quality delivery, Ateme has deployed a TITAN software solution capable of transmitting approximately 50 channels, including both high definition (HD) and ultra high definition (UHD) content.
The implementation of this project was successfully completed in the first half of 2023, thanks to the cooperation of Ateme and its local partner Systems Design. Leveraging Ateme’s advanced technology has enabled Nilesat to strengthen its position as a leader in broadcast services and extend its reach into Southern Africa and the Nile Valley.
