Ankara, Turkier. Havelsan is integrating its corporate artificial intelligence platform (Main) into an Advent Network-enabled data integrated combat management system to enhance naval maintenance and operational decisions, the company said in a statement.

Developed by the Turkish Naval Research Centre Command, Advent is deployed in nine countries and is designed to support interoperability of joint and multinational task forces. Main is an enterprise AI solution that can operate in a closed network or online, and functions within Advent as a maintenance support assistant, guides repair procedures, provides system instructions, responds to operator queries, and verify operational safety through natural language interactions.

Phase 1 testing was completed in a laboratory environment, and phase 2 integration is currently underway in a variety of systems. In addition to maintenance capabilities, Havelsan says Main will help you identify threats, anomaly detection, navigation safety, situational awareness and training support, helping you leverage big data analytics, machine learning, image recognition and large-scale language models.

The company says the integration aims to enhance collaboration with automated systems in the Navy business while improving decision-making speed and accuracy.
