Dan Howley: Interestingly, there is no discussion of AI. One person I followed on Twitter said that Apple isn’t playing a big tech bingo card game that has to throw in AI. And last week, after hearing Microsoft, Meta, and Alphabet all talk about AI, Apple only mentioned AI once.
That’s why we see a lot of penetration on social media. Some people are fed up with Apple, saying that the slowdown in sales in North America was not that great and Apple’s heyday is over. We often hear that Apple’s heyday is over. As such, we don’t know if there will be any new giant products coming out.
WWDC may be coming in June. Maybe AR/VR glasses. may be nothing. Maybe it’s the car. don’t know. But so far people mostly like what they see. And really, I had to thank the person who pointed out the AI bingo card action. For Apple, not much has been said about it.
Brad Smith: Dan, but isn’t that Apple? The current Apple has always had this spirit for years, especially under Tim Cook. Do we really have to be the first movers? I mean, I doubt they’re the first to roll out a flip phone.
They’ll see if the market responds to competitors’ foldable phones and decide if the market wants it. Let’s do better So even when it comes to generative AI, it seems like they will stay true to themselves, or at least they won’t put all their cards on the table right now.
