The annual event, which will take place from June 10 to 14 at Apple Park in Cupertino, California, will feature a keynote address showcasing the company's new software and technologies.
Apple CEO Tim Cook will speak during the keynote address at 10 a.m. PST on June 10. Following the keynote, a Platform State of the Day briefing will begin at 1 p.m. PST, where attendees can “discover the latest advancements in Apple platforms.”
Cook said at Apple's annual shareholder meeting in February that the company will “break new ground” with GenAI this year, TechCrunch reported.

Siri will be able to control functions within individual apps
Apple is revamping its popular Siri virtual assistant to allow users to control individual app functions by voice, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
The updated system gives Siri “control over everything within the app,” something new for the virtual assistant, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. To complete the change, Apple had to refresh Siri's underlying software, the outlet added.
Siri can also use AI to “analyze what people are doing on their devices and automatically enable Siri-controlled features,” Bloomberg reported. The outlet added that the new Siri features will initially be limited to Apple's own apps.
An improved Siri will be “one of the highlights of Apple's new AI effort,” an anonymous person told Bloomberg.
iOS 18 will introduce AI-generated emojis
Apple has previously added a range of emoji through updates to its iOS mobile operating system, but the company is rumored to be unveiling AI-generated emoji at WWDC.
According to the Verge, the feature will allow users to automatically generate emojis on the fly based on the content of their text messages.
According to a Bloomberg report, the AI feature is likely to be introduced in the iPhone's next update, iOS 18.
