Amitabh Bachchan seems to have embraced the internet age all too well. Superstars often surprise their fans with interactive posts and engaging content on social media. However, this time even he was surprised, and the reason was – AI (artificial intelligence). In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Big B posted a video featuring an AI-generated version of himself, but there's a catch.
The clip shared by the 'Goodbye' actor was originally a still image, but was converted into a video using AI image processing. The actor flaunts quirky facial expressions and adds musical touches as Wallerman performs to the backdrop of songs by Nathan Evans and Santiano. Amazed by the technology and how it can be used, Bachchan wrote in the caption: ”
Well, this isn't the first time Amitabh Bachchan has spoken about his excitement at meeting an AI representation of himself. In early February, he shared an AI image celebrating his 55 years of success in the industry. This image encapsulates the actor's amazing cinematic journey and portrays his futuristic elements. While sharing the photo, the actor said, “55 years in this wonderful world of cinema…and AI gave me its interpretation.”
On the professional front, Big B made his last on-screen presence in Vikas Bahl's Ganapath. The film starred Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Next, he is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited sci-fi 'Kalki, 2898 AD' starring Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The film's release continues to be delayed. Previously, the film was scheduled to be released in theaters on June 20th, but the makers are reportedly planning to postpone the release by several months. Bachchan will also play an important role in Ribhu Dasgupta's 'Section 84' and will co-star with megastar Rajinikanth in the Tamil film 'Vettaiyan'.
