(Yicai) September 25th – Alibaba Group Holding stocks skyrocket after China's internet giant Cloud Computing Arm collaborated with chipmaker Nvidia on physical artificial intelligence.

Aibaba Cloud's AI platform integrates a complete suite of Nvidia's physical AI software stacks, including Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Cosmos, and physical AI databases.
According to Nvidia's website, physical AI allows autonomous systems such as robots, autonomous vehicles and smart spaces to be recognized, understood and implemented in the real world. It is also often referred to as “generated physical AI” due to its insights and ability to generate actions.
Combined with Alibaba Cloud's big data and AI platform capabilities, collaboration with NVIDIA will further shorten the development cycle for applications such as embodied intelligence and driving-assisted driving, Alibaba Cloud noted.
Alibaba CEO Eddie Wu said yesterday at the Asparagus Conference, Alibaba CEO Eddie Wu said artificial general information is certain. The ultimate goal is to develop self-assessment and artificial tensions that go beyond humanity in all respects, he added.
In the age of AI, large-scale models will become next-generation operating systems, while the ASI cloud will become next-generation computers, Wu said. ASI clouds require ultra-large scale infrastructure and full stack technical expertise, he noted, adding that in the future there could only be 5-6 ASI cloud computing platforms around the world.
According to Wu, Alibaba Cloud will continue to increase its investment to welcome the arrival of the ASI era.
