Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has become the target of videos generated by fake AI.
The virus clip showed him in the role of Maharishivar Miki, which caused him widespread confusion on social media.
Akshay revealed that these were not real videos, but were completely manufactured using artificial intelligence tools.
The actor addressed the issue Tuesday morning through his Instagram story.
He writes: “I received videos generated by AI portraying me as Maharishi Valmiki. All of these videos are fake.”
He further expressed concern that certain news channels presented these videos as authentic news without fact-checking them.
Akshay highlighted the increasing misuse of AI in spreading false or misleading content.
He appealed to media organizations to properly verify and authenticate information prior to publication.
His message served as a warning to the public and journalists to stay cautiously with the manipulated wallet platform “Target” = “_ blank” title = “Digital rate updates, photos, videos click and click now”>> digital content.
