Akshay Kumar has issued a clarification after a video generated to his AI that shows him as Maharishi Valmiki has surfaced online. On Tuesday, the actor took over his social media handle, calling the video fake and urged fans not to pay attention to such videos. He even pointed out how some news channels are running it as “news.” The actor is currently co-starring Arshad Warsi, a promotion for his recently released film Jolly LLB 3.

Akshay Kumar wrote: “I recently came across a video generated in the film trailer Ai shown to me in the role of Maharishi Valmiki. I want to make it clear that all such videos are created using AI. He said, “In today's age, when misleading content is produced at a very fast rate through manipulative AI, I sincerely request that the media house only be verified and reported.”
Akshay and Arshad captivated the audience in the third installment of the courtroom drama. The film worked well in the weekend's opening game, but witnessed a drop of over 70% on Monday. The film scored 5.5 crores at the box office, bringing it to a total of 59 crores.
The actor will then be seen on Bhooth Bangla. Bhooth Bangla marks a reunion with director Priyadarshan. The film also stars Taboo, Wamikagabi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani. It is scheduled to appear in theaters in April 2026.
