AI-generated gorillas impersonating black women have exploded into social media feeds with exaggerated features, language of stereotypicality, and depictions of ock laughing rooted in one of the oldest anti-black shaming in history.

The AI-generated video known as “Bigfoot Baddie” features a video featuring a gorilla decorated with unpleasant blonde wigs, acrylic nails, sparkly crop tops and over-the-top fake eyelashes.

This may sound ridiculous, but these viral videos have gained millions of vision. To be fair, we cannot blame AI alone – platforms are mere tools Authentic Racist who shows their dark side… anonymous.

One of Tiktok's thriving pages is that it has about 2 million followers and over 2 million likes on a page called Female Bigfoot, and BigFootbaddies on Instagram kicks out content every day. But what's shocking is that the women in the comments section are torn between them finding them aggressive or funny. That in itself is a completely different matter.

“What's wrong b**** s It's the worst foot in the woods. “My red flag – don't sneak up on me, or you shouldn't lose your boobs,” the gorilla said in the second clip. “Also, throw s**t when you bore the actual s**t….

Fans flooded the comment section with mixed reactions. Some laughed, calling for deep attacks and harmful stereotypes on the video. To be fair, most people seemed really confused about what they came across in their feed.

“Yeah… I've woken up too much,” one woman wrote. “Why did they turn her black?” Another asked along with the crying emoji. “Megan the stallion?” I teased the third time. “I was sad for a minute, but this made me laugh so hard,” the fourth joked. “Body Tea”, fifth praise.

Google's VEO 3 platform is essentially the next level AI video wizard that allows you to whip realistic videos from text or existing clips. Users love it because they use smart algorithms to crank out content. That being said, without proper checks, this tool can easily twist and spread harmful, fake, or racist material.

It's time to demand accountability from the platforms and developers behind these tools. If you get too comfortable, this kind of biased “content” becomes the norm. We open yet another chapter in our long history of dehumanizing black women.
