AI video tools are now available on Gemini Pro

AI Video & Visuals

Google has officially launched the Veo 3, the latest AI-powered video generation tool in India. It should be noted that it was first revealed in Google I/O in May, and now the tool is finally being deployed in countries where the Gemini app is available. That means it's coming to India as well. You will need a Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscription to access VEO 3.

The move brings Indian creators one of Google's most talked about AI features, offering new possibilities for how short videos are created, shared and experienced.

What can Veo 3 do?

VEO 3 allows you to create 8-second AI-generated videos. It features sound, background music and synthesized speech. Whether you're trying to rethink a historical moment through a creative lens or cooking surreal scenes such as glass apple slices, this tool invites all sorts of experiments.

You can generate scenes with characters that talk, include cinematic sound effects, or add music backgrounds. Everything is within seconds of the video. Google pushes VEO 3 as a creative sandbox powered by AI, allowing unique content that seamlessly blends visuals and audio.

The watermark is there!

It may not look good to many people, but Google says it's serious about responsible use of AI. Therefore, all videos generated using VEO 3 contain two different watermarks.

  • A visible watermark that identifies content as AI-generated.
  • An invisible Synthid watermark is embedded in the video and requires additional verification.

Additionally, Google has taken measures such as red teaming and model assessments to minimize risk and prevent the platform from being misused.

How to get it

If you're in India and have access to a Gemini Pro subscription, you can try VEO 3. This tool is part of Google's broader push, making the generated AI more accessible, creative and secure.

As more users experiment with it, expect a new kind of short, imaginative video to appear online.
