BENGALURU: Mission Admissions 2024 will host a panel discussion featuring distinguished engineering and non-engineering guests from top educational institutions in Bangalore. In an age dominated by AI, students are often overwhelmed by the number of career options available to them after graduation. As AI continues to revolutionize industries, students are faced with the difficult task of choosing a career that will serve them well beyond graduation. Mission Admission aims to provide a platform to both students and parents, providing them with insights to navigate the complex decision-making process regarding the courses available for them after Class 12 or PU. It is scheduled to be held on May 18 at JN Tata Auditorium, his IISc campus on CV Raman Road. This year's event promises to be enlightening with two panel discussions. The engineering panel “Evolution of Engineering Degrees and Employment Scenarios in the Age of AI” will be moderated by Professor S Sadagopan, former Director of IIIT-B. An expert panel featuring Amit Bhatt, Vice Chancellor of Dayanand Sagar University. Mr. KN Subramanya, Principal, RV Engineering College; Seshachalam D, Professor and Dean, BMS School of Engineering. Jagannath Korody, who is the Director of Manipal Institute of Technology MAHE Bangalore Campus, will share his insights. A panel discussion will discuss how we can prepare engineers for the future and meet the ever-evolving needs of our industry. Similarly, the AI era is creating new opportunities for non-engineers. They are looking at roles like agile engineering, AI ethics, and policy, to name a few. This will be discussed in detail in “Impact of AI and Data Science Courses in Non-Engineering Fields”, moderated by Aditya Mishra, MD, CEO of CIEL HR. Panelist Arpit Yadav, Senior AI Scientist at IFIM Institute.
