Several posts on social media platform Weibo stated that the Pura 70 Ultra's object removal feature accidentally removed a part of the clothing worn by the subject in the photo, making it look like a body part covered by clothing. Examples are included to show how the supposed parts are revealed.

Huawei has acknowledged that there is a problem here, and blames the problem on the AI algorithm of the “Smart AI Retouch” function. The company says it will make appropriate changes in future system updates. But until that happens, this feature is useful for creating pornographic images.
