The Pentagon released the fourth part of the UFO file on Friday, releasing a batch of 40 new files, 19 of which were videos.
Recent tranches include data provided by a variety of agencies, including the FBI, NASA, CIA, Department of Energy, and Department of Defense.
Among all the videos, one video released by the Department of Defense caught the attention of netizens and the scientific community and went viral on social media platforms.
In 2020, a veteran aviator with 28 years of experience in the Air Force and Navy encountered an unidentified object while flying over the eastern United States. The pilot, who was accompanied by four other crew members, observed an object moving at high speed in a straight line beneath the aircraft. According to the astronauts, the flight characteristics were similar to those they had seen before.
The object wasn’t clear enough in the video, but according to some users, it looked like an alien-related spacecraft.
However, X-users applied AI to enhance UFO footage previously released by the Department of Defense called DOW-UAP-PR030 (also known as a “floating brain” UAP). Enhanced images show it changing shape and performing sharp, high-speed maneuvers before accelerating away. Surprisingly, Pentagon analysts were also unable to figure out the object.
The AI-enhanced image took the internet by storm, sparking a new wave of speculation and viewers drawing entirely different conclusions about what they were seeing.
One user wrote: “This is just a bunch of mylar balloons tied together. They probably escaped from a fair. They can rise thousands of feet without bursting like rubber balloons.”
Another researcher offered his own theory, saying, “Oh, it flew here from Alpha Centauri or the Andromeda galaxy. It makes perfect sense. Look at that mysterious perfect symmetry. It can’t be a distorted balloon or some random piece of junk. Our lives will be changed forever.”
“Oh my god, it’s a bunch of balloons. The glowing parts aren’t engines. It’s so bright,” a third commented. Some users are even calling the original video a “deepfake.”
