Nvidia CEO Jensen Wong and AMD CEO Lisa Su will deliver keynote speeches at CES, which kicks off the annual technology conference. To learn more about what to watch out for and how to invest around it, talk to Sylvia Jablonski, CEO and CIO of Defiance ETFs. Hi Sylvia, nice to meet you.

Good morning, Julie. Happy new year.
00:20 julie
happy new year. Now, I know you've focused on the technology industry, but you've looked broader than that. But this is kind of the first thing that's going to happen outside of Venezuela in 2026, so is there anything we're going to look out for from CES to set the tone for AI trade this year?
00:41 Sylvia Jablonski
Well, you started talking about the top three stocks in this segment, and one of them was Taiwan Semiconductor. So I think it's been a very long time that one of the top three stocks to watch isn't somehow related to AI, AI power, AI energy, etc. So, I'm just going to listen to what they have to say about what the future holds for the AI space, how it's progressing, how it's moving away from large scale infrastructure, construction and spending.
01:07 Sylvia Jablonski
Not only technology and AI, but also translating into different sectors to improve profits and productivity. So it will be interesting to hear whether the message on demand remains the same and, you know, kind of a growth outlook, which I expect will be the case. These are usually hurray moments for AI and Lisa Wong, Jensen Wong, and Lisa Su. Hmm.

Yes, we will definitely talk about that. I mean, it's interesting that you point out that the focus, and you're certainly not the only one talking about this, is shifting more and more from these technology specialist companies to how and where technology works across all sectors. So how do people, as investors, assess how things are going this year?
01:46 Sylvia Jablonski
Well, I think investors will flock to the top AI names, and it's probably Nvidia, they, and AMD. They may still be part of that equation, but I think what's really changed is where the puck goes and what we're hearing now, right? So what we're hearing now is that the energy demand for AI and the continued build-out of AI is just exploding. As AI becomes more practical and is applied in the real world by different enterprises, the need for connectivity will skyrocket.
02:20 Sylvia Jablonski
And across sectors, and things like this. So what you really need are two things: power, infrastructure, and connectivity. So I'm going to consider those 6G names. I look at the names of those AI powers and infrastructures. You know, what we're talking about is that in order for all of this to continue to run under current conditions, a multifold expansion has to happen between now and 2030, right? So I think there are a lot of opportunities for investors. There are many ETFs that capture this area.
02:40 Sylvia Jablonski
Whether it's the 6G ETF or the AI Power Infrastructure ETF. Well, it's a select few in this space that will really catch investors' eyes this year.
