A viral image suggests The Architects of AI could be TIME's Person of the Year, but their name has yet to be officially announced.
A viral image hinted that The Architects of AI could be TIME's Person of the Year. 2025 TIME Person of the Year, which recognizes the individual or group who has had the most impact on the world over the past year, will be officially announced on Time.com on Thursday, December 11th.

AZ Intel shared what appears to be an image of the 2025 TIME Person of the Year cover on X, writing that “The Architects of AI” appears to be TIME's Person of the Year, according to the cover found on TIME's web servers. The official announcement will be made tomorrow. ”

As of the morning of Dec. 9, Polymarket says there is a 47% chance that artificial intelligence will dominate the annual cover of Time magazine, USA Today reports. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang is next at 18%. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is in fifth place with 3%.

It's important to note that this is just speculation, and Time magazine won't reveal the identity before the release of the December issue.
TIME Person of the Year is the person who dominated the year or caused the most cultural, scientific, or geopolitical change. Last year, Trump appeared on Time magazine's annual cover.
“If America wants change, President Trump will be tested to see how much he can make happen. With his strongman vision, he has proposed deporting millions of immigrants, dismantling parts of the federal government, exacting revenge on political opponents and dismantling a system that millions view as censorious and corrupt,” Time wrote at the time.
