On July 19, according to information from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Justice Steering Committee on Science, Technology, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Project 06 has just announced a 100-day action plan to implement Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
The plan aims to crystallize the direction of the Central Steering Committee and aims to bring about clear changes in the way the Ministry of Justice is managed and operated based on data, digital technologies and artificial intelligence, with a focus on addressing the bottlenecks of digital transformation.
According to this plan, the Ministry of Justice has set the goal of bringing about tangible changes in the way it leads, directs, manages, administers and serves. It ensures that the operations of institutions and departments under the Ministry are data-driven, synchronous, smooth and secure.
In addition to this, there will be innovations in how output products are managed, less manual work, less paperwork, and time and cost savings for government agencies, officials, people, and businesses.
A key requirement is to establish uniform disciplines in data management, infrastructure, and digital platforms. Overcome disparate investments, data fragmentation, duplication or slow deployment of systems, and slow spending of allocated resources.
The plan also calls for promoting the development of data and sharing platforms according to the principles of “Accurate, Adequate, Clean, Living, Unity and Shared”. By the end of 2026, focus on reviewing, standardizing, cleaning, connecting, and leveraging data across systems.
Regarding the application of artificial intelligence, the plan identifies AI as an important support tool for improving work quality, efficiency and labor productivity, but not as a substitute for human responsibility and decision-making authority.
The development and application of AI must be secured for the right purpose, avoid scattered investments, and at the same time ensure absolute network security and data protection.
