As generative AI gains wider acceptance in the industry, Adobe plans to create generative AI video models for the Firefly family. This new model will add new tools to the Premiere Pro video editing platform.
Next generation Adobe!
Adobe is expected to describe third-party AI integration in a video preview as an “early exploration” of what the “future” might look like. Experts explained that according to Adobe's insights, the goal is to provide Premiere Pro users with more options. This new feature will allow users to use models such as her Pika to augment shots, as well as use Sora and Runway AI when generating her B-roll. “You can apply a content credential label to generated clips to identify which AI model was used to generate the clip,” Adobe emphasized.

What lies ahead?
It is understood that new initiatives by Adobe could help boost partnerships with third-party AI companies. OpenAI's Sora's initial features are expected to blow away other products, and may even be better than the early previews Adobe has provided for its upcoming Firefly video model. However, Adobe's advantage over its competitors is the ability to add its own Firefly model to the software ecosystem.
