Adobe has launched a new set of tools and model integrations for Firefly applications, expanding its generation AI capabilities for video creators.
The latest updates showcase new frame-by-frame video editing controls and integration with partner AI models such as text- and audio-driven sound effects generation, Google's VEO 3, Moonvalley's Marey, and Runway's Gen-4.
The new Generate Sound Effects feature in the Firefly App released in Beta allows users to create custom sound effects using written prompts or recorded audio. This tool supports impact and atmospheric sounds and can be layered with ambient audio or user upload video.
Adobe has also added frame-level video editing capabilities for creators working at Firefly.
These include configuration references that guide framing based on reference visuals. Trim keyframes for improved shots throughout the sequence. A style preset that applies consistent aesthetics to the generated output.
The company has expanded its offering partner models within the Firefly ecosystem. New models from Pika, Luma AI and Topaz Labs are participating in those already available from Openai, Ideogram and Black Forest Labs. All models are accessible, and a single Adobe sign in and content created in the Adobe app will not be used for model training per company policy.
As part of Adobe's Content Authenticity initiative, all Firefly AI-generated content is tagged with content credentials that disclose the model used to create the asset.
Adobe said the Firefly model has been used to generate more than 26 billion assets worldwide since its launch.
