Activision Blizzard is accused of using AI-generated art to promote future collaboration between mobile titles Diablo Immortal and Hearthstone. The Heroes of the Hearth Event runs from July 30th to August 27th, and you'll see a powerful Hearthstone card heading towards the sanctuary.
Also, if you participate in the event, please return an additional card to Hearthstone. The event itself isn't particularly controversial, but the art it uses is certainly true. A while ago, Redditor Lpyrable posted an image with a sign indicating that Ai was being generated.
This post has attracted a lot of attention in a few days since it first got online, and now many fans have chosen to stop buying items in one of the games or spend money on creators who don't use the generator AI.
Activision Blizzard has not responded to the claim yet, but it is unlikely that all users will care. The thing about the “art” of AI and AI is that it could become more common and tricky, ignored and accepted by most people, and become a new norm for saving money spent on real artists from big companies like Activision Blizzard.
