Accenture has partnered with artificial intelligence company Anthropic to create the Accenture Anthropic Business Group, a consortium aimed at accelerating the transition of AI from pilot to full-scale implementation and developing new products for regulated industries, including the public sector.
Under the partnership, the companies will combine their AI expertise and capabilities to enable secure deployment of technology across the enterprise, Accenture announced Tuesday.

What is Accenture Anthropic Business Group?
Accenture Anthropic Business Group plans to train approximately 30,000 Accenture professionals on Anthropic's Claude to accelerate adoption of the AI assistant.
The business group plans to launch a platform that will enable chief information officers to measure the value and scale the development of AI-powered software within their organizations.
How will the Accenture and Anthropic partnership support public sector customers?
Accenture said the partnership will initially focus on highly regulated industries facing challenges in modernizing legacy systems and complying with strict government requirements.
One example of AI provision for the public sector is the use of AI agents to guide citizens in accessing government services while ensuring data privacy.

Accenture and Anthropic are long-standing industry partners. In November, the companies launched an initiative with Amazon Web Services to support the responsible adoption and scaling of generative AI tools.
As part of the collaboration, Accenture committed to providing customers with services and accelerators to customize AI models based on their specific needs. Meanwhile, Anthropic contributed access to the Claude AI model.
