Accenture and Snowflake help organizations leverage data to accelerate AI adoption
Caterpillar, the world’s leading industrial equipment manufacturer, collaborates with Accenture and Snowflake to unlock the full value of operational data. This helps improve quality in manufacturing, timely insights in finance, and better knowledge management in complex operations. This partnership, which combines Caterpillar’s IT AI Center of Excellence, Accenture’s industrial manufacturing, AI and data experience, and global distribution capabilities with Snowflake’s AI capabilities, will help accelerate Caterpillar’s enterprise-wide AI and data transformation.

said Jamie Engstrom, Caterpillar’s CIO. “Our collaboration with Accenture and Snowflake marks a major step in our journey to becoming a truly AI and data-driven organization.” “Our collaboration, combined with the Caterpillar IT AI COE, will enable us to make faster, data-driven decisions that increase efficiency, improve quality, and deliver greater value.”

Accenture Snowflake Business Group accelerates client transformation
The new Accenture Snowflake Business Group builds on long-standing partnerships focused on helping clients transform their data into core business assets. This group is supported by more than 5,000 Accenture SnowPro certified talent, the largest pool of certified talent in the ecosystem. We are dedicated to helping organizations across industries move to the cloud, create AI-enabled data assets, and accelerate AI innovation that drives new value and business outcomes.

This is a key focus for enterprise customers. A recent Accenture study found that 85% of executives plan to increase their investment in AI this year, and 67% see AI primarily as a driver of revenue growth, rather than just a cost-cutting tool.

As part of the Accenture Snowflake Business Group, the companies will co-invest in the creation of a global Center of Excellence where dedicated teams from Accenture and Snowflake will work with customers to rapidly apply the latest technologies and co-create new assets and solutions.

The business group will leverage Accenture’s deep industry experience, business reinvention capabilities and ecosystem relationships, as well as the Accenture AI Refinery platform. This allows clients to leverage Snowflake’s AI data cloud for scalability and governance, quickly jump-starting custom data journeys, and laying the foundation for agent capabilities.
