AI video is developing faster than expected
If the AI market from 2023 to 2024 is centered on video production, from 2025 onwards, AI video will become a rapidly accelerating field. In just a short period of time, technology has moved from creating error-filled, myopic movies to the ability to create videos with stable characters, natural movement, and more complex context.
It is worth noting that the speed of development of AI video is reflected not only in its image quality, but also in its ability to solve problems that were once considered major barriers.
One of them is character consistency. This used to be an issue that took many creators weeks to deal with. Characters can change faces, costumes, or identifying features after just one scene. However, with the advent of technology to create videos from reference images, this problem is gradually being solved.

Virtual singer as a “countermeasure” for AI evolution
In Vietnam, musician Thai Nguyen’s AI/T Virtual Singer Project (Ai Trinh) is one example of this transformation process. Musician Thai Nguyen shared that the first MV of 2025 is mainly built on the command system (prompt), and maintaining the character’s image has become a big challenge.
By 2026, as video technology from reference images develops more strongly, products like “Not You Yesterday” will begin to show higher levels of stability. AI/T characters can appear in a variety of environments in Ho Chi Minh City while maintaining a relatively consistent perception.
Musician Thai Nguyen told reporters: “When we started making AI/T’s first music video in 2025, the biggest challenge was not composing or editing, but making sure the virtual characters looked uniform throughout the video.”
This is one special MV because it’s at the intersection of using prompted video creation techniques and starting to apply video from images. ”
But in just over a year, the technology landscape has changed dramatically.
A new generation of AI video platforms now allows you to create live video from reference images, allowing you to maintain greater character consistency. Problems that once took weeks to process now take hours or even minutes.
This change will give implementers of AI/T projects a different perspective when looking back at early-stage products.
According to musician Thai Nguyen, the speed of development of AI is such that many products from 2025 to 2026 will be observable milestones, clearly reflecting changes in technology over the years.
Media expert Hoang Van said that from a broader perspective, the virtual singer shows that AI is gradually changing the structure of the creative industry. As tools become smarter, the advantage no longer lies entirely in the ability to manipulate technology, but shifts to the ability to generate ideas, storytelling thinking, and emotional value.
