Cloudera Launches Three AI Assistants

Data company Cloudera has announced three new AI digital assistants designed to help users accelerate the development of data, analytics and AI business applications.

The new AI assistant is designed to help businesses quickly take advantage of trusted data, analytics and AI applications, while giving more employees access to the tools.

These include a SQL AI assistant built to solve the challenges associated with writing complex Structured Query Language queries: the tool allows users to describe what they need in plain language, and the assistant will find the relevant data, write and optimize the query, and explain it in plain language.

Meanwhile, the AI chatbot within the Cloudera Data Visualization tool is designed to interact directly with enterprise data to provide business insights that cannot be obtained through traditional business intelligence dashboards.

Finally, Cloudera Copilot for Cloudera Machine Learning helps overcome the challenges of deploying AI and machine learning models in production with a large array of pre-trained language models.

Dipto Chakravarty, chief product officer at Cloudera, said that by building an AI assistant directly into its platform, the company is helping to simplify the AI and machine learning experience for all users.

“As AI advances, Cloudera is committed to staying ahead of our customers' needs,” he said. “Our new AI-driven Assistant removes barriers, empowering all users to harness the power of AI across their organizations.”

Cloudera ANZ CTO Vini Cardoso said the new solution will also help Australian organisations navigate the complexities of adopting AI to drive business innovation and increase efficiency.

“AI is a game changer, but establishing trust in AI remains a barrier to entry for many business leaders. Recognizing this, we have applied our decade of AI experience and capabilities directly to creating this developer toolbox,” he said. “This not only gives businesses an 'easy button' to get started using AI assistant technology in their AI application development efforts, but also gives them trust in the tools, mitigating risk and ensuring secure AI systems.”
