Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai shared advice for Indian engineers in the midst of the AI era.
In a YouTube interview with content creator Varun Mayya, Pichai suggested that young engineers gain a deeper understanding of technology.
Pichai responded to Maya's opinion on cracking the FAANG interview. FAANG interviews refer to the recruiting and hiring process at some of the world's leading technology companies, such as Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Google.
“I don't know if you know this, but there is a whole industry set up in India to help young Indians crack the FAANG interviews,” Maya said.

He added that despite being “smart,” many students are unable to focus on the basics.
Mayya then asked Pichai to share advice for budding software engineers on how to prepare for the future.

Earlier this week, Google announced that it would be introducing AI-generated answers to online queries.
“I'm excited to announce that a completely new experience, AI Overviews, will be available to people in the U.S. this week,” said Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
The changes will soon be rolled out to other countries, giving access to more than 1 billion people, he added.
