As Boere explains, large-scale language models now dominate, and much of the discussion is about perception.
“People are seeing this technology at work in many aspects of their day-to-day lives.
“This is another tool in terms of really changing the way we work, not only creating opportunities but also enabling economic growth.
“But I really think consciousness is what will be the challenge in the coming months and years, and that is what we have to achieve. It will make us people fully aware of how things are unfolding and how we can explain what they are doing.”
