Start a short-term certification program at
data science
and
machine learning
in partnership with the National Skills Development Corporation, for STEM graduates, working adults, and final semester students (
NSDC
). The duration of the program will be 6 months.
In this certification program, students learn the fundamentals of mathematics and statistics, computing and data science, data processing and modeling, and data analysis tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel. This program helps aspiring data scientists gain a deeper understanding of both the theory and application of data science models for transforming complex data into business insights. Job opportunities and internship opportunities are offered to participants who successfully complete the certification program. Attendees will also have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the IIT Mandi campus for a week.

This course is intended for Engineering, BCA, MCA, ITI, Polytechnics, Teachers, Trainers, and Practice Professionals. The duration of the course will be 1-2 months. Registration for these free online/offline courses is now open and will continue until June 15, 2023.
The main purpose of this proposal is to enable and enhance the employment prospects of Himachali candidates, including candidates with an IT education background and work experience in IT related fields. Depending on their area of specialization and interest, these candidates will have a wide range of advanced-level qualifications in areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), industrial automation, and drone technology.
