New Orleans — In this Healio video perspective from the ARVO conference, Kaushal Solanki Let’s talk about the EyeArt AI eye screening system, cleared by the FDA for the detection of diabetic retinopathy in 2020.

Mr. Solanki spoke about recent European Union medical device regulatory approvals for detection systems for age-related macular degeneration and glaucomatous optic nerve damage, in addition to diabetic retinopathy.

“Our European customers are now able to help more patients who are not only at risk for diabetic retinopathy, but also for AMD and glaucoma, and are very active, including not just one but three conditions. We are now able to provide a comprehensive report to our customers,” he said.
