
Zoom Video Communications announced a partnership with Anthropic, a developer of artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
As part of the partnership, Zoom Ventures made an undisclosed investment in an AI company.
This development represents the latest effort by Zoom, which provides collaboration tools for enterprises, to enhance its AI-powered solutions.
US-based Zoom sees Microsoft Teams as a competitor.
Under the partnership, Zoom will also integrate Anthropic’s AI assistant, Claude, into its platforms of team chat, meetings, phone calls, whiteboards and Zoom IQ.
Initially, Claude will be integrated into Zoom Contact Center, a call center suite.

Earlier this year, Zoom worked with OpenAI to integrate AI-powered capabilities into Zoom IQ to generate synopses and drafts.
