At the recently concluded I/O keynote, Google announced a major upgrade to the Pixel series, showcasing the latest advances in artificial intelligence.
Google’s 15th annual developer conference focused on artificial intelligence for businesses and users. With updates to nearly all of Google’s core apps, the future of AI is coming soon with his new Pixel devices.

Expanded Pixel lineup
During the keynote, Google focused on Pixel hardware, introducing three new products: the Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet and the affordable Pixel 7A.
The first Pixel Fold to hit the foldable market is priced at $1,799. You’ll see a 5.8-inch OLED outer screen that unfolds to reveal a larger 7.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the new 11-inch Pixel tablet is priced at $499 and works as both a traditional tablet and a smart display. It comes with a magnetic charging dock that doubles as a speaker.
Regarding its mid-range A-series lineup, Google has announced the Pixel 7A. Like the Pixel Fold and Pixel Tablet, the device is powered by Google’s Tensor G2 chip and features a 6.1-inch 1080p display capable of running up to 90Hz. The base model of the phone costs $499, but some carriers offer a more expensive $549 option that supports millimeter wave (mmWave) technology.
Bard is now open to everyone
Google made an exciting announcement by announcing that AI-driven chatbots would be accessible to all users, eliminating the need for waitlists. Additionally, the company introduced several new enhancements. The user can now utilize the chatbot’s functionality in Japanese and Korean, as well as improved ways to export the generated text to his Google Docs and his Gmail.
Additionally, Google has introduced Dark Mode and Visual Search features, and plans to introduce more in the future. Future additions include AI image generation utilizing Adobe’s AI image generator named Firefly. Google also plans to integrate the chatbot with third-party services like OpenTable and Instacart to further extend its capabilities.
AI-powered Google search ‘snapshot’
Google Search gets a major update through a new feature called AI Snapshots. When you opt in to the Search Generative Experience (SGE) feature, AI-generated answers appear at the top of search results for specific queries, providing additional context to your searches. Follow-up questions can then be used to refine the information displayed in the snapshot.
These AI snapshots are powered by an updated version of Google’s Large Language Model (LLM) known as PaLM 2, also announced at I/O. The updated model is now used by 25 Google products, including the Bard chatbot, to improve reasoning, coding, and translation capabilities.
Android gets even better with AI
Google’s AI-powered advancements aren’t just limited to Google Search. The company recently announced the introduction of new AI-driven features for Android as well. His one of these features, Magic Compose, will be integrated into his Android’s Messages app, allowing users to respond to text messages using his AI-generated suggested responses.
Another notable addition is the ability to create personalized wallpapers using AI. Rather than choosing from an existing collection, users will soon have the option to describe the image, and the device will generate the corresponding wallpaper using Google’s text-to-image diffusion model. Additionally, Google plans to launch a Pixel-exclusive feature next month that will allow users to enhance their devices with “cinematic wallpapers” that add depth to their photos.
Magic Editor for Google Photos – Alternative to Photoshop Mobile
The tech giant is also introducing a new AI-powered editing tool called Magic Editor to its Photos app. This feature allows users to significantly improve their photos. This includes enhancing the sky, moving people and objects in the photo, and removing people from the background. First, Magic Editor will be in early access for some of his Pixel users later this year.
New and improved WearOS 4
Even though Wear OS 3 isn’t fully implemented yet, Google is preparing to release Wear OS 4. Google revealed that the upgraded operating system will improve battery life and offer features that allow users to backup and restore their watches. , which also includes new accessibility features.

At the I/O keynote, Google made another big announcement, introducing a new name, Duet AI, to the collection of AI tools that will be integrated into Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet and Gmail. .
