Primion has partnered with Iveda to offer IvedaAI to customers across Europe, extending Iveda’s video analytics software through Primion’s security portfolio.
Under the agreement, Primion will offer IvedaAI as a standalone product, while the companies plan deeper integration with Primion’s broader security platform. The move is aimed at customers who want to combine access control recordings with live and recorded video analytics.
Primion provides integrated security and workforce management systems and serves approximately 5,000 customers worldwide. Nasdaq-listed Iveda is focused on video intelligence software and is expanding in Europe, including new operations in Spain.
The partnership comes after more than a year of collaboration on training and deployment plans. This preparation reflects a practical challenge for many physical security personnel. Access control systems can show who entered a building and when, but often have limited visibility into what happens around the event.
Combining the two systems allows customers to add video-based analytics to their existing camera networks rather than replacing installed hardware. The software is designed to work with your current infrastructure and may be attractive to organizations looking to modernize their security operations while controlling costs and limiting disruption.
IvedaAI allows operators to configure video detection using natural language prompts, rather than relying solely on fixed analysis rules. This is intended to allow security teams to define and adjust what to monitor as conditions change.
This software was also developed with GDPR requirements in mind. This is important for customers in Europe, especially in highly regulated sectors. Data governance and compliance have become central issues for buyers of AI-based surveillance tools, especially when surveillance systems intersect with workplace management and access controls.
customer focus
Primion announced this partnership as part of a broader effort to simplify security operations by consolidating disparate information streams into one environment. The company says customers increasingly want systems that reduce complexity rather than adding another standalone tool.
“Technology is most important when it brings clarity, confidence, and real value to people. This is exactly how we want Primion to move forward. Our customers don’t want more complexity; they want security solutions that simplify operations, connect critical information, and support better decision-making when the moment matters. With Iveda, we are taking our unified security approach one step further and bringing AI to the table. “We combine video analytics with access control and security management to create a more intelligent, connected, and responsive security ecosystem.” Mr. Francis Cepelo, Chief Executive Officer of Primion.
For Iveda, this partnership will provide a route to a larger and more established customer network in Europe. Primion has been building its business for over 30 years and has a significant installed base in the region, making it a useful channel for software companies looking to expand adoption without building a distribution network from scratch.
european push
The partnership also fits in with Iveda’s broader international expansion. The recent establishment of operations in Madrid allows us to work more closely with Primion and gives us a stronger basis for our activities in Europe.
“Primion has earned deep trust across Europe by helping organizations protect their most critical facilities, people and operations. This partnership has been over a year in the making, but we believe the future of physical security will be a trusted platform, not one system replacing another. “It reflects our shared belief that forms are about working together in a smarter way. We are proud to partner with the Primion team to bring IvedaAI to an ecosystem already trusted by thousands of customers.” says Ly.
Security departments are moving to platforms that combine separate functions such as access control, employee management, alarms, and video surveillance. Vendors claim that buyers increasingly want consolidated views of incidents, especially in large facilities where operators must use data from multiple systems to make quick decisions.
Against this backdrop, the partnership between Primion and Iveda shows that the market favors consolidation over wholesale exchange. Rather than asking customers to remove their existing cameras and security systems, the companies are positioning their software as an analytics layer that can be added on top of equipment already in place.
Primion says its more than 470 staff support consulting, planning, development, installation, maintenance and customer support operations around the world.
