(Reuters) – OpenAI on Thursday launched new usage analytics and updated spend management for its ChatGPT Enterprise platform, aimed at giving customers greater visibility and control over their AI deployments.

As the increased adoption of AI tools by power users within enterprises brings attention to the increasing costs associated with widespread use of AI, the new features are aimed at helping you manage costs and track credit usage.

The details are as follows.

OpenAI said it will provide a comprehensive view of how ChatGPT and Codex credits are being used in its Global Management Console, a dashboard for enterprise customers.

Administrators can now see a detailed breakdown of consumption by individual users, different products, and specific AI models, the company added.

The new update allows organizations to monitor usage trends over time and identify both top users and emerging patterns in how they use AI.

OpenAI said in a blog post that account managers can now set a default credit limit for their entire workspace.

According to OpenAI, to help businesses better manage their AI spending, clients can also set specific limits for different groups within their organizations and create individual overrides for employees who need more AI capabilities.

OpenAI added that the new tools will allow employees to view their credit usage, request additional credit, and provide context for their requests.

Business customers can start using new analytics and updated spend management starting Thursday, the startup said.
