SEOUL, South Korea , June 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Nota AI (CEO, Myungsu Chae), a specialist in AI model compression and optimization, announced that it is evolving its video surveillance solution NVA (Nota Vision Agent) based on NVIDIA VSS (Video Search and Summarization), a generative AI-based video search and summarization technology, to expand real-world applications such as industrial safety and traffic control.

NVA is a generative AI video surveillance solution that is based on Vision Language Models (VLM) to understand the situation and context in the video, and supports controllers to search, summarize, and report the necessary information based on natural language. As an NVIDIA Connect Partner, Nota AI continues to work with the NVIDIA AI ecosystem to advance NVA along the lines of NVIDIA’s video AI technologies, including VSS.
VSS-based technology collaboration with NVIDIA is becoming an important foundation for both advancing NVA capabilities and expanding field applications. By reflecting the flow of NVIDIA’s video AI technology into NVA, Nota AI implements a generative AI video surveillance function tailored to the requirements of each customer’s environment, creating examples that can be used in actual sites such as traffic control and industrial safety.
The operational experience and data that Nota AI has accumulated in the field will be shared with the NVIDIA VSS team, and the two companies are building a cooperative structure to jointly develop video AI agent technology, going beyond a mere technology supply and implementation relationship. In addition to basic functions such as video search, summarization, and Q&A, Nota AI and NVIDIA are enabling AI transformation (AX) in areas such as industrial safety and traffic control, where video data is translated into actionable decisions.
In the traffic control field, Nota AI built NVA in the traffic control system operated by the Daejeon Regional Construction Management Bureau. Unexpected situations such as accidents, fires, and obstacles are detected in real time through CCTV on roads, and traffic information by lane and response status are automatically aggregated and reported in response to unexpected events. It has achieved an accuracy of 99% (the highest grade) in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s ITS basic performance evaluation, and has improved work efficiency by automating control device operations.
The application of NVIDIA VSS-based NVA is also expanding in the field of industrial safety. Nota AI worked with Kolon Benit to apply NVA to Kolon Sangyo’s Gincheon 2nd Factory, and the actual operation of NVA on site received a great response from stakeholders. NVA is used for video surveillance for industrial safety purposes, such as worker safety, monitoring hazardous areas, and screening for potential safety rule violations. Based on VSS-based video search and summarization capabilities, it quickly identifies dangerous situations and supports the controller to summarize and report the necessary information based on natural language. This shows that generative AI-based video surveillance can also be used to advance safety management systems in manufacturing and industrial settings.
NVIDIA VSS provides core capabilities for generative AI video surveillance, such as video search, summarization, and Q&A, and is establishing itself as a critical technology foundation for improving the performance and scalability of video AI agent solutions. By combining the multi-agent structure presented in VSS 3.1 with NVA’s configuration capabilities customized to the field, Nota AI plans to advance NVA so that video data can be used as practical decision-making information in various fields such as industrial safety, public safety, traffic control, and smart cities. This will reduce manual intervention by the controller and improve on-site work efficiency.
Myungsu Chae, CEO of Nota AI, said, “The video surveillance market is rapidly moving beyond simple object detection to generative AI-based video AI agents that understand the context in the video and search, summarize, and report the necessary information.” He further added, “Nota AI will continue to evolve VSS-based NVA according to customer environments, expand proven application cases in real fields such as the ITS case with the Daejeon Regional Construction Management Bureau and the Kolon Benit Industrial Safety Case, and work with NVIDIA to expand the global video AI agent market.”
