New training program aims to build confidence in business AI

AI For Business

Training provider EMA Training has launched a new leadership training program in partnership with a data and AI consultancy.

Derby’s company has partnered with Meesh Consulting, which helps businesses implement actionable data and AI solutions.

They came together to launch AI & ME. This is an initiative designed to help businesses confidently and effectively deploy and apply AI across their operations.

This follows the success of EMA Training’s recent Marketing Derby Bondholder event “Introduction to AI” held at its headquarters.

The announcement comes after formal approval was given for EMA training to deliver brand new government-backed apprenticeship units, including AI and ME, due to start next month.

These short training units are designed to help employers build their AI capabilities and provide tangible outcomes and the confidence to apply the learnings effectively within their business without having to commit to a full apprenticeship program.

Many providers will be offering these new units, but EMA Training says it’s taking a unique approach.

AI and ME efforts are not only focused on technical implementation, but also on empowering people.

The program focuses on leadership, collaboration, and practical application to help companies integrate AI in ways that enhance rather than replace skills.

Developed in partnership with Meesh Consulting, which has extensive experience in developing and implementing real-world solutions, the program combines EMA’s training expertise with real-world AI and data experience to ensure employers gain commercially relevant insights and actionable strategies.

Tracey Mosley, managing director of EMA Training, said: “AI is transforming the way businesses operate, but trust and understanding remain key barriers.

“AI and ME puts people at the center of that change and helps leaders and teams build the knowledge, confidence, and strategy to use AI effectively.

“Partnering with Meesh Consulting allows us to bring real-world experience into the classroom, helping businesses not only learn about AI, but understand how to apply it in meaningful and sustainable ways.”

The AI Leadership Unit is aimed at business owners, directors, senior leadership teams, and managers.

Additionally, EMA training also offers a complete Level 4 AI apprenticeship, providing a long-term pathway for companies looking to build deeper capabilities across departments and teams.

Employers interested in accessing apprenticeship levy and government-funded training are encouraged to register their interest in EMA training before commencing.
