AI-generated fake video shows Erica Kirk breathing heavily into microphone

AI Video & Visuals

Does the actual video show Erica Kirk and hear her breathing heavily on camera? No, it doesn’t. This 15 second video clip is fake. The AI-generated footage is modeled after an actual video released by The Charlie Kirk Show on April 30, 2026, but there are important differences between the two videos. There is a discrepancy between real studio equipment and fake videos. The rendering of the satin shirt has some glitches typical of AI-generated content.

This fake video appeared in a post published to X by @TheWapplehouse on April 30, 2026 (archived here).

This is a screenshot of the video.

In the screenshot above, you can see an illuminated showcase with a Charlie Kirk poster on the left and a folded American flag on the right. The case appears to be attached to a wall, as a brick wall is visible directly below the case. This configuration does not match the actual Charlie Kirk Show set and appears to have been fabricated by AI.

On April 30, 2026, a video titled “Message from Erica Kirk” was published on the YouTube channel Charlie Kirk. The 9-minute, 45-second video (archived here) showed Erika Kirk speaking from the set of The Charlie Kirk Show. This same set also appeared in other videos on the channel.

A wide view of the studio was shown twice in the video, at the 2:53 mark (pictured below) and at the end, at 9:35. The modular shelving unit had two floor-to-ceiling elements on the left and right side walls. The central section does not extend to the floor, and the exposed walls are white wainscoting. On the left, behind Erica Kirk, is a flag in a lighted case, and below that case is another lighted display case. Although it was partially obscured by the mesh chair, I could see several books displayed in the lower case.

The screenshot below was taken at the 0:48 mark. Message from Erica Kirk video. You can see the Charlie Kirk poster on the left. If you measure the wall in brick lengths, there are 10 bricks between the poster and the flag case. The number of bricks in the fake video is less than 4. The area under the flag case is not visible from this camera angle because the upholstered chair blocks the view.

The AI rendering of the shiny satin material on Kirk’s shirt has some glitches. The GIF (below) details 13-14 seconds of the fake video. The sheen of the dough seems to change into a cone shape.
