Team.blue deploys AI tools across its business brands

AI For Business

Team.blue has rolled out a series of artificial intelligence updates across its SimplyBook.me, iubenda, Macaly and Windsor.ai brands, spanning reservations, compliance, software building and business data analytics.

The new tool is aimed at entrepreneurs and small businesses using the company’s services across Europe. These include functions such as handling customer inquiries, generating legal documents, building websites and web applications, and querying performance data through a chat interface.

Hans Nijholt, Chief Product Officer at Team.blue, said AI is at the heart of the group’s strategy.

“team.blue’s vision is to make online business success easier for every entrepreneur in Europe. AI is at the core of that. AI is the foundation on which our entire ecosystem is built. With the latest updates to our brands SimplyBook.me, iubenda, Macaly and Windsor.ai, we are building the kind of intelligence that was once out of reach for small and medium-sized businesses directly into the tools they use every day,” said Nijholt.

Reservation tool

SimplyBook.me, team.blue’s online booking platform for service businesses, now has AI capabilities designed to manage the booking process from initial inquiry to confirmation of booking. The system includes an AI voice assistant that identifies the customer’s desired service, checks real-time availability, and completes the reservation through the website or booking page.

It has also introduced AI assistants for social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. The tool manages customer inquiries, guides users through service selection, and completes reservations within the same conversation.

We’ve added another AI Help Center assistant to support business owners and their customers. A setup assistant will also be released to allow users to configure service providers, uptime, and platform features during onboarding.

Promoting compliance

At iubenda, we focus on automating legal and regulatory tasks for businesses operating online. Its policy generator scans company websites, discovers the services in use, and helps create privacy policies, cookie policies, and terms of use.

These systems are designed to keep your settings aligned with changing regulations such as GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and Brazil’s LGPD. Iubenda also uses machine learning in its consent management tools to optimize cookie banners and increase opt-in rates for marketing and analytics efforts.

Iubenda’s accessibility widget uses AI to identify and address website accessibility issues in line with WCAG and European accessibility legislation. The purpose of this is for businesses to make their websites available to a wider audience.

Website production

Macaly, which was acquired by Team.blue in December 2025, is deployed in Europe through the group’s hosting brand. This product allows users to create websites and web applications by writing what they need in natural language instead of writing code.

The platform uses multiple AI agents for tasks such as design, backend setup, and search engine optimization. The aim is to lower technical and cost barriers for small and medium-sized businesses that require in-house developer or agency support.

data access

Windsor.ai was acquired by Team.blue in January 2026 and focuses on data integration and analytics. The platform connects over 330 data sources to AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude, allowing business users to analyze CRM pipelines, e-commerce performance, and marketing spend through natural language prompts.

According to Team.blue, this means performance reviews that previously required expert assistance can now be performed through a conversational interface. The group added that data continues to be stored in European data centers.

The update reflects a broader push by software and hosting groups to embed AI into everyday business tools rather than offering it as a standalone service. Companies serving small and medium-sized businesses are increasingly shifting their focus to automating tasks that are time-consuming, regulated, or technically challenging for customers with limited staff or budgets.

The strategy now covers customer acquisition, regulatory compliance, product creation and data analytics across team.blue’s portfolio.
