The song lists other criticisms Patel has faced over the past year, including the controversy surrounding the release of the Epstein files, the FBI’s premature announcement that it had arrested Charlie Kirk’s assassin, being photographed drinking with the Olympic men’s hockey team, and the purge of career bureaucrats and installation of supporters.

One scene appears to depict Kirk’s assassination, with lyrics referencing Patel’s botched arrest announcement and depicting Patel reacting in horror as the Lego version of Kirk bleeds out.
Rego Patel was spotted drinking beer with the US men’s hockey team while an FBI jet was parked in the background, addressing criticism of the FBI director for partying while on official travel.
Patel’s girlfriend, country musician Alexis Wilkins, also appears, and the lyrics criticize Patel’s use of an FBI plane to visit her and attend her performance. The video shows Patel performing on stage as the FBI building is engulfed in flames.
Ponder has created other AI Lego-like videos criticizing the Trump administration, promoting them by replying to posts from popular X accounts and prominent officials with links to his videos.
It is unclear what software Ponder uses to create his music, lyrics, and animations. He did not explain how the videos were created, but labeled them as AI on Substack.
The video also sparked an instant reaction online, with most of the users praising the piece.
“I can’t get enough of these Lego videos,” wrote one X user.
“Unreal. These silly videos will bring down entire political parties: Lego version of meme-ized death,” another user added.
A third person wished: “How amazing! I wish they would put all these Lego songs on a 2 CD set (yes, I’m an old guy).”
However, the style of the video is consistent with a popular one created by the pro-Iran group Explosive Media, which uses Lego-style animation to denounce the regime for starting the war with Iran. The video first gained attention after the Iranian embassy posted a Lego-style AI video on its official social media account. Explosive Media later told the BBC that the regime was a “customer”.
The videos have been gaining attention online in the last month, despite criticism that they are “lazy AI” or content that is produced with little effort or meaning. Some of the videos have received hundreds of thousands of views.
This trend seems to be inspiring others, such as Ponder, to imitate this style as well. The author started posting his AI Lego videos in mid-April.
Patel’s music video by Ponder has already been viewed over 80,000 times. Ponder clearly states in his X profile that he is “not Iranian.”
In April, an account called CapitalTabloid began producing similar low-quality Lego AI videos to criticize members of the administration. CapitalTabloid also has its own version of Patel’s music video.
