Gen Z, ages 16 to 29, use AI more than any other group. A 2025 Deloitte study found that 76% have tried tools like ChatGPT and Claude. Another 2025 survey by SurveyMonkey found that education is the top reason for using AI, with 61% saying it helps them learn.

boomer generation

Baby boomers (ages 60 to 75) are the least likely to use AI. Deloitte found that only 20% of people have tried standalone tools. People who use AI are more likely to use it for entertainment rather than work, as many are often retired.

However, awareness is increasing. Approximately 67% of Boomers know about ChatGPT, and 35% have used AI features without actively seeking them out. Like Gen
