Salesforce 2026 Results: AI Agent Platform Drives Growth – News and Statistics

Salesforce announced strong financial results for the fiscal year ending January 2026, according to a report from Yahoo Finance. The company’s revenue increased 10% year over year to $41.5 billion. Remaining performance obligations, a key indicator of future business, are $72 billion, with the portion recognized within the next 12 months expected to increase 16% to $35.1 billion.

AI agent platforms are gaining popularity

The company’s strategic focus on artificial intelligence is centered around its Agentforce platform, designed to create and manage AI agents that automate business tasks. By the end of fiscal year 2026, Agentforce had an annual revenue run rate of approximately $800 million, demonstrating significant growth. The platform was part of around 29,000 trades in its first 15 months on the market.

This agent AI technology is frequently employed alongside the company’s core products. More than three-quarters of our largest transactions last quarter involved both Agentforce and the Data 360 platform. Data 360 integrates customer information from various enterprise systems to enable AI applications. The recent acquisition of Informatica adds tools to organize and connect enterprise data. Combined annual recurring revenue for Agentforce and Data 360, which now includes Informatica, was more than $2.9 billion at fiscal year end.

Customer Deployment Showcase Platform Utilities

Several large clients are implementing these tools at scale. Wyndham Hotels deployed thousands of Agentforce instances across its properties and reportedly achieved a measurable increase in direct bookings via AI voice agents. Another company, SharkNinja, said it managed a large number of customer interactions shortly after the Salesforce agent was deployed in late 2025.

Analysts note that the company is building integrated systems that link enterprise data, business applications, and AI agents, rather than simply adding separate AI capabilities to existing software.
