President Lee Jae-myung shared an artificial intelligence-generated video of himself and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva as young factory workers, highlighting their common life experiences.

Lee uploaded an 11-second video clip to social media platform X on Monday after the two leaders held a summit in Seoul and agreed to elevate the bilateral relationship to a strategic partnership.

The video shows the two leaders as young workers hugging each other, then cuts to footage of the two presidents hugging at the Blue House before the summit.

“Two young factory workers became company presidents and came together,” Lee wrote. “We share the experience of hurt, but no scar.”

“Through labor we gained life’s wisdom and endured hardship, and it was the people who saved us,” Lee added. “So we’re brothers.”

In response, Lula also shared Lee’s post on her own X account on Tuesday.

Lula lost a finger in a work accident during her factory days, and Li suffered permanent damage to her arm while working as a young worker. Both leaders often cite that experience as shaping their political outlook and commitment to social justice.
