Bharatiya Janata Party member Tejaswi Surya Mondays are welcome Sergio Golthe US ambassador to India heads to Bengaluru for talks focused on strengthening bilateral ties.
Surya told X that the two leaders, while sharing a casual breakfast of masala dosa and coffee at Filter Coffee in Indiranagar, discussed expanding the India-US partnership in trade, technology and innovation, especially after the Interim Trade Agreement.

During the visit, Mr. Surya also introduced the Ambassador to Namma Auto and gave him first-hand experience of the Bangalore-based ride-hailing service. Mr. Surya described the visit as “memorable” and emphasized the informal but productive nature of the conversations.

He called on authorities to ensure seamless enforcement and close coordination among government agencies to deliver public services to the people as soon as possible. MLAs Ravi LA and CK Raju were present, along with officials from BWSSB, BESCOM, police and other concerned agencies.
In a post on X, Sergio Gol also shared his first impressions of Bangalore and praised the city’s vibrant energy and innovation ecosystem.
