“This is fake…this is so wrong!” he wrote on his X account.
The post to which he responded was later deleted.
Johnson, 82, was at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, to watch a game between the Miami Hurricanes and Indiana Hoosiers. Johnson coached at Miami from 1984 to 1988 before becoming head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.
In 1987, he led the Hurricanes to the national championship.

Unfortunately, Johnson watched as Miami fell just short against Indiana. The Hurricanes were unable to make the stops needed to get Indiana close to the end zone. Miami quarterback Carson Beck had an interception on the final drive, clinching the victory for the Hoosiers.
“The Canes came up short, but they had a good year,” Johnson added of the X’s.
Miami finished second in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll. It’s the second time the school has finished with at least 10 wins under coach Mario Cristobal and the third time since reaching the threshold, winning the Orange Bowl in 2003 under coach Larry Coker.
