Israeli AI startup Legato announces $7 million investment

AI For Business

“SaaS platforms are realizing that it’s no longer enough to just give developers and administrators a great no-code or vibe-coded builder,” said Rochman, now CEO of Legato.

“Legato brings Vibe app creation directly to non-technical users, turning professional services into autonomous in-product experiences available to everyone,” she added.

The company said in a statement that the funds raised in this round will be used to accelerate research and development and expand its AI team.

The platform works by enabling secure collaboration when building apps, workflows, or AI agents within the platform, making it easy for business users, partners, and internal teams to build the applications they need without the need for long and expensive professional services cycles, Legato said.

“Users simply state their requirements in plain language, and Legato instantly generates production-ready software while maintaining full visibility and governance of the platform,” the company assures.

“Legato compresses customization into hours instead of months, saving time and resources from traditional professional services and changing the game for SaaS platforms at risk of slowdown,” said Aya Peterburg, Managing Partner at S Capital VC.

The company currently works with a variety of SaaS platforms, from CRM to HR Tech, but plans to expand beyond SaaS into financial services, healthcare, communications, and energy.
