WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., April 28, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) is hosting a free Mark Cuban Foundation artificial intelligence (AI) bootcamp for high school students.nd AI Bootcamp in West Palm Beach targets underserved high school students (9th -12th Introduce these high school students to basic AI concepts and skills.
FPL is one of more than 28 host companies selected to host camps across the country in Fall 2023.
FPL Bootcamp will be held on four consecutive Saturdays from October 14th to November 4th. Bootcamps are held every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET. High school students must commit to attending all four sessions.

As part of a four-hour curriculum, students will use open source tools each day to build their own AI applications related to computer vision, machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
The Mark Cuban Foundation provides the bootcamp curriculum materials, trains corporate volunteer mentors, and recruits and scores local students selected to attend the camp.
